I have the original lps, but I thought it would have been a nice touch to include it. The cd/album binder was a no cigar for me. Yes, this historic album is worth even just looking at-sleeve, label, and all-to me anyway. But this release was too nice and seminal to not include the album - even for those who might not even have a turntable to play it. I realize the pattern is to keep these separate, perhaps so those who don't cater to one of the formats won't have something they don't play. You get some form of a book in the uber and 8 lp box. ![]() This time, it appears that they put priority on the lp release for a change. So far, it seems that all the recent blu-ray/cd box sets are the ones with the books and ALL the tracks with the lp box sets being stripped down both physically and musically. Things were reversed with the White Album blu-ray/cd box where it was the silver platter folks who got the the big "book" and the lp only box set buyers missing out. ![]()
